He has previously created solitaire apps, so he has a lot of experience in this area, and this is really the crown jewel of his work, and a real labor of love. I know that he has plans to keep developing the app and more. The creator is actively involved in improving things, as is evident from some of the feedback I gave him after playing the game, which he then implemented. You can also just purchase a full version which unlocks everything and removes the ads. It's supported by ads, but I didn't find the ads very intrusive or annoying as they are in many other solitaire apps.I personally would like to have also had the option of winning deals, but realize that this can be very hard to implement, especially for so many variations. The features and options I look for are all there, such as a good UI (eg tap to move, undo & redo, multiple layout and graphic options etc), autocomplete, hints / available moves, stats, scoring, achievements, variations, filters, and more.By playing, you can easily earn more, and it works really well. The built in "Joker" system (used to unlock more solitaire variants or visual options) is generous, and what you get to start with is a decent amount to get going. The free version gives an excellent selection of different solitaire games to start with, and the choices made for these are very good, with the more popular ones all being available from the outset. Some of the things I really liked about this app: See for example my articles listed at the bottom of this post.įrom corresponding with Ruben I know that he has carefully worked through these, and tried to pack in as much as he could in terms of the essential features that I look for in a good solitaire app.Īnd I think he's succeeded. I've written also a lot of articles on both subjects, including the essential features to look for in a digital app. Many people will know that I've explored a lot of different solitaire games, and also a lot of different apps. But I have corresponded with him many times, and have a sense of the time, effort, and thought he has put into this. This kept me going for hours, and I was easily able to unlock a good chunk of the solitaires just by playing games that interested me.įull disclosure: I've got no official connection or affiliation with the creator. You can play a lot of different games with the free version, and can "unlock" more with "jokers" that you earn by winning games. I've spent over 20 hours playing it in recent weeks, and it's pretty amazing for a free app. A great new solitaire app has just come out, called Solitaire Master, created by Rubén Reboredo:
